Trip Details
Day 1: Arrival Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Morning: Meet & Greet on arrival by Shoolosho Safaris Airport Representatives.
Transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, meet your lodge/camp representative and transfer in a safari 4×4 land-cruiser vehicle, with a short game viewing drive en route.
Afternoon: Enjoy a hot lunch and relax at your lodge/camp.
Evening: Head out for your first game drive in Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Overnight: At your selected lodge or camp – Full board basis.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli
Morning & Afternoon: Enjoy scheduled game drives or opt for a full-day safari with picnic boxes.
Amboseli’s open plains and swamps provide incredible photo opportunities, especially of elephants with the snowy peak of Kilimanjaro in the background. Look out for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and an impressive variety of birds.
Overnight: At your selected lodge or camp – Full board basis.
Day 3: Amboseli – Samburu / Shaba Game Reserve
Morning: After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Samburu/Shaba (via Wilson Airport). Meet your camp representative on arrival and drive to the lodge with a game drive en route.
Afternoon: Enjoy a hot lunch and relax.
Evening: Head out for an afternoon game drive through the rugged terrain of Samburu, offering sightings of rare wildlife.
Overnight: At your selected lodge or camp – Full board basis.
Day 4: Full Day in Samburu / Shaba
Morning & Afternoon: Choose between a split-day or full-day safari with packed lunches.
Search for the “Samburu Special Five”—Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and reticulated giraffe. The landscapes are also rich with elephant herds and birdlife. Shaba is known for its dramatic scenery and pop-culture fame from films and documentaries.
Overnight: At your selected lodge or camp – Full board basis.
Day 5: Departure
Morning: Enjoy your final breakfast in the wild before transferring to the airstrip for your return flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi.
Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to lunch, followed by drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.
